It has been downright hot this summer and I believe full time CV residents need a well-deserved break from it.

I love the Ritz Carlton here in Rancho Mirage. The staff, service and ambiance is hard to beat.

The Ritz Carlton – Bacara Resort in Santa Barbara is equally as nice, especially during the summer time with temperatures in the mid 70’s to low 80’s. Perhaps one of the main reasons I liked it so much is because a former employee of the Rancho Mirage Ritz Carlton is now reservations manager at the Ritz Carlton – Bacara Resort in Santa Barbara.

Andrea Hernandez is such a sweetheart and now in Santa Barbara. Making me feel right at home the Bacara Resort and Spa is a Spanish-style luxury resort located in Goleta near Santa Barbara, California. Built in 2000, the Bacara Resort & Spa cost $222 million to develop, and offers 311 guest rooms and 49 premium suites, all of which have balconies or private patios http://www.bacararesort.com/welcome-to-bacara/

The Angels Oak is a great restaurant overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The Bistro, Bacara bar or Foley wine tasting room are plenty to keep you at the resort with plenty to do along with golf, tennis, pools, spa and beaches.

Downtown Santa Barbara is 20 minutes away and wine tasting in the Santa Ynez Valley – Los Olivios is about 45 minutes up the coast.

Get out and Beat the Heat at the Bacara in Santa Barbara. It is really cool!
