“It is our soul mission to learn and explore for the purposes of moving onward and upward. Creativity keeps our minds engaged in the learning and the wheels of progress in motion.” Mastering the Game of Life, co-authored by Aimee Mosco, page 31.

We are creative beings by nature. We all have the ability to “create” because we are wired that way. What and how we choose to create is up to each one of us. We can choose to take the reins on our manifestations and be engaged in the process or we can choose to disengage and passively let things unfold.

When you decide to take charge of your creation process, it is important to understand that the moment that matters most is the one happening right now. Like everyone, you have memories of both good and bad moments that have happened before this now moment but unless you are a time traveler, you cannot change what transpired in the past. You can look forward to what will happen in the future and even plan for it, but how each future moment unfolds greatly depends on what happens now. The now moment represents a unique opportunity for you to exercise your innate creatorship skills with a peak degree of effectiveness.

When you focus your attention on the present moment with the aim to exercise your highest degree of creativity, you put yourself fully in charge as the creator of your reality. If you are lamenting what has happened in the past, or worrying about what will happen next, you disconnect from the opportunity to be fully present with your thoughts and exercise your creativity in the moment at hand.

Each new moment is a precious resource. If you are fully present and mindfully infusing each new moment with energies based on conscious thought, you are functioning as an empowered creator and your soul is doing a happy dance. Make no mistake, this practice takes some getting used to because while each of us is a creator by nature, we are also creatures of habit!

As you are making the transition to integrate the practice of intentional and empowered creatorship, it is imperative that you make an effort to rectify habits that shut down your creativity. When you find yourself regretting the past, think about what you learned from the associated experiences and how you can apply that knowledge to whatever it is you are creating now. If you are prone to worrying about what will happen next, try visualizing a favorable outcome and using the present moment to generate supportive thoughts that build an energetic foundation for that new outcome to manifest.

Remember, you are wired to create, and you will connect with the most powerful creatorship opportunities when you keep yourself in the “now”.
