City of Indio Announces Spectacular Independence Day Block Party Event
Block Party to be Held Friday, July 5, 2024, from 5-10 p.m.
The City of Indio is thrilled to invite the community to its Independence Day Block Party in Downtown Indio on Friday, July 5, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM. This free, family-friendly event promises an evening filled with food, fun, and festivities for all ages.
Attendees can indulge in a variety of delicious cuisines from the popular weekly event, Food Truck Fridays, as a diverse lineup of food trucks will be serving up their most popular dishes. Thrilling carnival games and bounce houses will be stationed in Downtown Indio for kids of all ages to enjoy. Those looking to do some two-stepping can enjoy line dancing sessions hosted by DJ Big John of KPLM The Big 106-FM at Center Stage. The highlight of the evening will be a special live performance by country artist Frank Ray at 7:00 PM on Center Stage with a breathtaking patriotic drone show at 9:00 PM, lighting up the night sky in a dazzling display of red, white, and blue.

The patriotic drone show is a unique and considerate feature, being both veteran and pet-friendly, allowing all members of our community to participate in the festivities without concerns about loud noises.”

Agua Caliente Casinos Gets Ready to Host its 10th Annual Fourth of July “Drive-In” Fireworks Spectacular Show
Celebrate Fourth of July Weekend at Agua Caliente Casinos with Live Entertainment, Slot Promotions and Dining Specials
This Fourth of July, Agua Caliente Casinos will illuminate the night sky in Rancho Mirage for their tenth annual “Fireworks Spectacular.” In partnership with the City of Rancho Mirage, Agua Caliente Casino Rancho Mirage will host the brightest display in the Coachella Valley. All weekend-long, guests can look forward to a weekend filled with entertainment, drink specials, slot promotions, and a breathtaking fireworks display.
On Fourth of July, food and drink specials include summertime favorites and classic Fourth of July dishes, such as Baby Back Ribs at ACE Deli, Spareribs at Water’s Café, and a 1⁄2 Rack of Baby Back Ribs at Café One Eleven. Cocktail specials include the FireCracker at Pívat Cigar Lounge and the Blue Drop Cocktail available across all properties. For those looking to relax by the pool, the WetBar at Rancho Mirage offers refreshing options like the Poolside Pina Colada and the Tropical Margarita, as well as delicious bites such as the Crispy Chicken Tenders and the Grilled Fish Tacos. Head over to the casino floor and check out some of the hottest and new slot machines like Mr. Chunky and Mrs. Cheeky or enjoy a relaxing day at the spa. For our ACE Club members, earn those points and partake in the “Shift Into Gear Porsche Giveaway” where drawings take place every Sunday from July to August.
The “Drive-In” fireworks experience will feature live music from Eagle 106.9. This experience is free and open to the public and will take place at the South Dirt Lot in Rancho Mirage with only 700 first-come, first-serve parking spaces available. Parking opens at 3 p.m. and the fireworks display will start at 9 p.m., and last for approximately 25 minutes.
