FEBRUARY 8 AT THE LIVING DESERT ZOO AND GARDENS Children Encouraged to Dress Up for Day of Fun Activities

The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens is calling all princes, princesses and other fairytale characters to join in a celebration of fanciful fun for Fairytales & Frog Day on Saturday February 8, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.

Kids are encouraged to dress up in their favorite costume for the magical day. All royal subjects attending can decorate a crown and have a chance to get their face painted to complete their regal costume. Photo opportunities will be plentiful as several costumed characters, including Moana, Jasmine, Ariel, and Freddy the Frog, will be on hand to greet attendees. Fairytales & Frog Day guests also will enjoy entertainment by DJ Baz, a magical maze, crystal ball bowling, corn hole frog toss, arts and crafts, and more. When the clock strikes noon, the Royal Ball Dance Party begins in the Living Legacy Garden.

Children aged 3-12 are welcome to join one of the four Enchanted Private Tea Parties. These exclusive tea parties are $20 per child and include a princess performance, a souvenir princess cup and a commemorative photo with the princesses, along with a special treat. Tea party times are scheduled for 9 a.m., 9:45 a.m., 10:30 a.m., and 11:15 a.m. Pre-registration for the Enchanted Private Tea Parties is available online at LivingDesert.org/event or by calling 760-346-5694.
