COMMUNITY-AT-LARGE INVITED TO  DESERT ARC ITALIAN FESTIVAL & CAR SHOW SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 18, 2023 FROM 9:00 am TO 3:00 pm ALL PROCEEDS BENEFITTING DESERT ARC

Desert Arc, a leading nonprofit established within the Coachella Valley in 1959, is celebrating its 65th Anniversary of enhancing the quality of life and creating opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.  Desert Ac is throwing a grand party on Saturday, November 18, 2023, and is inviting the community-at-large to come celebrate!

Everyone is invited to come join in the festivities and bring the kids, bring the parents, or just bring themselves and come out to the Desert Arc Italian Festival & Car Show on Saturday, November 18th from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at Southwest Church, located at 44–175 Washington Street in Indian Wells (corner of Fred Waring Drive and Washington Street).  Admission and Parking are free!  Guests will be able to enjoy a Car Show provided by The Palm Springs Corvette Club, The Scorpions Car Club, and The Palm Springs Cruise Association.  Entertainment will consist of students performing from Cathedral City High School, La Quinta High School, Palm Desert High School, and Xavier College Preparatory High School.

“Mario’s Italian Cafés have for over 40 years been a true friend of Desert Arc,” said Mario Del Guidice, Owner of the numerous Mario’s Italian Cafes located throughout the Coachella Valley. “I do whatever I can  always to help Desert Arc, because the programs and services they provide for people with disabilities is awe inspiring.  I just want to be known as a loyal friend to Desert Arc.”

During the event, guests will be able to purchase food along with snacks at minimal prices, featuring an Italian Lunch plate for $10, a BBQ Lunch plate for $10, a pizza slice for $5 and dessert for $5.  Snow cones, kettle corn, soft drinks and water will also be available for purchase.

This well-deserved celebration is being generously underwritten by Mario Del Guidice, Owner of Mario’s Italian Cafés, with 100% of proceeds being donated back to Desert Arc.  Southwest Church is hosting this event on their expansive grounds.

“The community’s participation in this celebratory fundraiser for Desert Arc will make a difference in the lives of the people we serve,” said Richard Balocco, President/CEO of Desert Arc. “Our goal is to raise $ 30,000 in support of our impactful programs that are not funded by the State of California.”
