Old Town Artisan Studios (OTAS) will hold its annual Color the World Gala on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. The event will take place in the Fiesta Ballroom at the Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa, 41-000 Bob Hope Drive, Rancho Mirage.

Hosted by Emmy-award winning anchor, Peter Daut of KESQ TV, the event will raise much needed funds to continue the organization’s mission of providing positive art experiences for area residents regardless of age, ability, or financial circumstances, and to ensure that art remains a vibrant part of the creative fabric of the Coachella Valley. OTAS offers fee-exempt classes for underserved groups, including youth, seniors, and those with special needs. The organization has provided over 25,000 art experiences each year throughout the Coachella Valley.

The evening, designed and produced by Frank Goldstin and Momentous, will begin with a cocktail reception at 6:00 pm, followed by dinner and the program. The evening will conclude with a rousing performance by Studio 54 Disco Explosion.

There will also be an exciting live auction with one-of-a-kind experiences, original artwork, and a “palette” raise to further solicit the funds needed to support OTAS’s outreach programs which, through collaboration with local organizations, provides art classes to children and adults with special needs, seniors and veterans. Old Town Artisan Studios is committed to providing art education to those who otherwise might not receive it, as well as introducing the healing power of art to those who may benefit from it.

“We are delighted to be honoring both Patrick Evans and Quinton Egson,” said OTAS Board President, Betty Saidel. ”Both of these dynamic leaders have been working tirelessly for the betterment of everyone in our community and I am thrilled that they have finally agreed to be honored by one of the many organizations they have championed.”
