Known for chart-topping hits including “Mama Told Me,” “Never Been To Spain,” and “Eli’s Coming,” Three Dog Night will perform at Morongo on Saturday, August 5.

Three Dog Night, the legendary band known for shaping rock in the late 1960s and 1970s, will treat fans to an unforgettable performance at the Morongo Casino Resort & Spa on Saturday, August 5.

Formed in 1967 by vocalists Danny Hutton, Cory Wells, and Chuck Negron, Three Dog Night released three albums in the group’s first 18 months that generated 10 Top 40 hits, including “Try a Little Tenderness” and “One.” The group’s first #1 hit came in 1970 with the release of Randy Newman’s, “Mama Told Me (Not To Come).”

Throughout their five-decade trajectory, Three Dog Night has released over a dozen albums and sold more than 50 million records worldwide.

“We are thrilled to host Three Dog Night, whose music has provided the soundtrack to the lives of so many people over 50 years,” said Simon Farmer, Morongo’s Executive Director of Marketing. “We are certain that their fans are going to love the band’s electrifying performance as they listen to their favorite songs performed live at the Morongo Grand Ballroom.”

In 2016, the band released a live album, titled “Liar,” which featured recordings from their 2015 tour.
